How are the images produced?

All the images in the gallery are created using 3D software to model, texture and light three dimensional scenes and then render out a still image using a virtual camera.  The resulting images are rendered at 300 dpi to preserve high detail at close inspection.

What are the different finish options?

  • Print under Acrylic Glass (Gloss)
  • Print under Acrylic Glass (Matte)
  • HD Print under Acrylic Glass (Gloss)

Gloss

The computer graphic images are laser printed on Fuji Crystal DP II Paper mounted under 2mm Acrylic Glass with a Gloss finish, backed with an Aluminium Dibond backing (two sheets of aluminium with a polyethylene filler).  The Fuji paper has a good colour gamut and contrast range to cover most scenes adequately.

Matte

The computer graphic images are laser printed on Fuji Crystal DP II Paper mounted under 2mm Acrylic Glass with a Matte finish, backed with an Aluminium Dibond backing (two sheets of aluminium with a polyethylene filler).  The Fuji paper has a good colour gamut and contrast range to cover most scenes adequately.  The matte finish is a high-quality, non-reflective finish that disperses light to reduce bright highlight reflections.

HD Gloss

The computer graphic images are laser printed on Fuji Crystal Professional Archive Maxima Paper mounted under 2mm Acrylic Glass with a Gloss finish, backed with an Aluminium Dibond backing (two sheets of aluminium with a polyethylene filler).  The Fuji paper has an excellent colour gamut for the reproduction of vivid and highly saturated colour and broad contrast range to handle deep blacks well.

How can I pay?

You can pay by credit card or by PayPal. All payments are processed by PayPal.

How much does delivery cost?

Delivery costs are included in the price you see on the item.  Currently we only deliver to the UK and the Isle of Man.

How long does delivery take?

Typically it will be around seven days from placing your order.  This may vary due to seasonal fluctuations in business.

What are the delivery options?

There are no delivery options.  Your order is forwarded to production shortly after payment is received. It is unfortunately not possible for us to provide exact dates for delivery as the artworks are produced to your individual specifications.

How will the work be delivered?

We ship your artwork in made-to-measure, secure art packaging, using an appropriate carrier (FedEx, UPS etc). Unless otherwise agreed, your order will be shipped to the shipping address you provided when you placed the order directly following its production. If you are not available to receive the delivery, a message will be left for you so that you can contact the carrier to arrange a suitable date.

To which countries do we deliver?

Currently we deliver to the UK and the Isle of Man.

Can I change my order once it has been placed?

It is not possible to change your order once it has been placed. The only exception to this is the delivery address, which can be changed if your order has not yet been shipped. To change this, please contact us directly via email at info@nothinghereisreal.com quoting your order number.

What happens if my order is damaged when I receive it?

It is important that you check your delivery in the presence of the delivery person. If you notice damage, you should refuse to accept the item.  Please contact us immediately so that we can order a replacement. To allow a quick handling of the situation, it is helpful if you can e-mail our photographic documentation of the damage.

If you have already received the work before you notice damage, please contact us as soon as possible. Please keep the original packaging in case a return is necessary.

What does the Satisfaction Guarantee mean?

Your satisfaction is extremely important to us. That’s why we request that you please contact us right away when something does not meet your expectations. Together we will find a solution for your problem, whether it is by remaking the product or another form of compensation. We strive to always keep improving based on your feedback so we can continue to ensure your satisfaction in the future.

If you are unsatisfied for any reason, please send an email to us at info@nothinghereisreal.com within two weeks of receiving your goods. In the subject line, please write “Satisfaction Guarantee” and make sure to include your order number and an exact description of the issue in your email. Please include at least two clear photographs of the problem for us to accurately evaluate the problem.

We will analyse your case in order to continue to meet our high quality standards. Then we will contact you to find a solution as soon as possible.

Can I cancel an order?

Please understand that once your order has been accepted it may be only a short amount of time before the production process for your artwork will begin, and it is therefore not possible to cancel your order after this point. Please note that the full payment for your order is booked automatically once the order is successfully placed. If you cancel your order, you will receive a confirmation e-mail immediately.
